TMZ reports this morning that Mel B signed the contract last Friday. The other women also signed on the dotted line. They will perform in the United States and England.
Last weekend, Victoria Posh declared (quote) “I’m not going on tour. The Spice Girls aren’t going on tour.” That now looks to be fake news, if TMZ has their facts right.
Their manager, Simon Fuller, must juggle the logistics of a tour with five mothers. This series of concerts will occur as the women’s schedule allows.
Talk About It:
- Technically, if Posh never sings, she's only window dressing and not part of the concert.
- Mel B could still be busy judging America's Got Talent. Unless Queen Latifah replaces her. That's the rumor.
- Earlier reports suggested each of them would earn at least 15 million dollars, plus a percentage of merchandise sales.
- Mel B and Posh have faced a financial crunch in recent years. The reunion is about money ... and pleasing the fan, naturally.
