It's all downhill after age 35 … According to a new study, our body strength and fitness officially peak at age 35 — and it slowly goes downhill from there, no matter how much we work out. Researchers in Sweden tracked hundreds of people from their teenage years all the way to age 63. They found that natural aging causes us to lose nearly half of our overall strength and stamina by our early 60s. But there is some good news. The scientists found that starting a workout routine at any age can still boost your strength by 10% — and keep your heart and blood vessels much healthier as you get older.
