A new survey found that rising costs are changing the dating game for more than 80% of Gen Z and Millennial singles.
Some of the eye-opening numbers:
- Nearly half of Gen Z daters say they've set a budget for dating.
- 32% of Gen Z and 23% of Millennials say they have actually kept track of how much they've spent on a specific person.
- Nearly a quarter admit they've hidden the fact that they couldn't afford something from a date.
- 20% of Gen Z daters and 15% of Millennial daters say they've gone into debt to keep up a certain lifestyle while dating.
- 19% of Gen Z singles have borrowed money from family or friends for a date.
