The price of love … Does true love have a price tag? According to a new survey, it does … and it’s more than six figures. The survey found that 25% of respondents believe their finances have kept them from finding "the one," and the average respondent says it takes a salary of about $110,000 to make true love possible. Younger adults were especially likely to connect money and romance, with Gen Z placing far more importance on income than older generations. The survey also found that 15% of Americans have ended a relationship because of money issues, though poor financial habits mattered more than salary itself. And with rising costs, about half say they'd like to date more, but they simply can't afford it.
