How would you describe the inside of your car? Is it neat, clean, and fresh smelling? Good for you. We’re not talking to you people. We’re talking to the third of drivers, according to a new survey, whose cars are a cross between a trash can and a closet. According to the survey:
•33% of respondents said they keep clothes in their car.
•36% said there’s an assortment of empty bottles, cans, and takeout cups inside their car.
•23% said there are old food wrappers inside their car.
•21% said there is dropped food on the floor of their car.
Interestingly, the youngest drivers have the cleanest cars. 32% of Gen Zers described their cars as “very tidy.” Boomers, on the other hand, were the most likely to admit that their cars were “messy.”
