Doggone good life … A survey of dog owners found that 87% consider their pup to be their best friend. 97% say they consider them a member of the family. 29% of the dog owners surveyed admit their entire life is centered around their dog. How much do we spoil our dogs? The survey says:
•75% say they regularly “talk” to their dogs
•60% have had video calls with their dog when they’re away
•54% have shared a plate of food with their pup
•47% let their dog sleep in their bed every night. 36% let them sleep under the covers
•45% have social media accounts dedicated to their pet
•40% have thrown birthday parties for their dogs
•35% have taken their dog on vacation
•28% have cooked homemade meals for their dog
•21% have taken them for spa days
•10% have had photo shoots for their pup
•9% said their dog was in their wedding or engagement photos.
•And then there are the 9% who read aloud to their dog
