A new survey found that 63% of Americans say they’d be “doomed” without butter during the holiday season. Yep, during the holidays we’re spreading a lot of butter along with all that seasonal cheer. From cookies to casseroles, most households use about five sticks of butter per holiday, compared to just two sticks in a regular week. According to the survey, these are the holiday dishes where butter is the most critical:
•Mashed potatoes – 79%
•Dinner rolls – 77%
•Corn – 72%
•Cornbread – 62%
•Sweet potatoes – 52%
• Stuffing – 34%
