It’s going to be a busy Thanksgiving travel season … According to AAA, 55.4 million travelers will head 50 miles or more from home over the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s an increase of 2.3% over last year and the third-highest Thanksgiving travel forecast since AAA began tracking holiday travel in 2000. The top two years were 2005 and 2019. And this probably goes without saying, but the worst day to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday is the day before Thanksgiving – Wednesday, November 22nd.
Pass on the politics … It looks like all generations agree on the one thing they want to keep off the Thanksgiving table – politics. According to new survey of Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Baby Boomers, over 90% of respondents said that they don’t want to talk about politics at all at their Thanksgiving dinners.
