Would you Rent an Umbrella?

You've heard about ride shares, but how about "dry shares"? A startup company called Rentbrella is testing the idea of getting people to borrow umbrellas if they get caught out in the rain without protection. If customers don’t return the umbrella within 24 hours, they’re charged $2 for the second day and another $2 for the third day. If they still haven’t returned the umbrella after four days, they’re charged $16 and can keep the thing forever. It's worked out in Brazil, where they have 400 kiosks -- and rent ad space on the umbrellas to make extra cash. (New York Post)
