RIP, Internet Explorer

RIP, Internet Explorer … After more than 25 years on computer screens, Microsoft is retiring the Internet Explorer browser. Since first launching back in 1995, the Explorer application quickly become one of the default ways to surf the web. Despite the early dominance, it was eventually overtaken by other options like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. While the program was updated over the years, it will now be phased out in favor of the more modern Microsoft Edge browser. A Microsoft representative says Internet Explorer 11 will officially be “retired and go out of support on June 15th, 2022 for certain versions of Windows 10.” (PC Mag)
