Jessie J underwent a mastectomy in June and recently opened up about lingering side effects she's experiencing from the surgery.
The "Price Tag" hitmaker zoomed in on her breast cancer journey in an August 12 Instagram Post, revealing that her hair has been "falling out like crazy" lately.
"Hello, I’m shooting a TV show today. You can see how curly my hair is. I’m gonna do my hair and makeup myself. Also, a Christmas special. It’s cold outside, Santa Claus is coming to town. My hair has been falling out like crazy since the surgery."
Five weeks post-surgery, the standout assured that she's feeling "ok" and is focused on healing.
"I’m feeling okay. I’ve still got quite a lot of cording, so that’s my main focus. My boobs still aren’t even."
Amid admittedly "oversharing," J explained that her cancer diagnosis has changed her perspective on life, and that she's just trying to do the best she can for herself, her husband, Chanan Safir Colman, their son, Sky Safir, and her fans.
"I know I can’t do everything that I was supposed to be doing, but I just want to be able to make it work the best I can for everybody, me, Sky, my fans, but in the right order. It’s so hard, like you are always gonna leave some people disappointed. My perspective on everything has changed so much."
