SMASH-GRAB: Pasadena Jewelry Store Lost Half-Million
Three masked robbers pepper-sprayed a jewelry store owner in Pasadena before stealing more than $500,000 in merchandise.
The owner said he was attacked with pepper spray when he was walking a customer to the door. The three robbers entered the store with hammers, smashed the jewelry cases and took as much as they could in only about three minutes. The owner said almost all the jewelry in the store had been stolen.
Surveillance captured the entire robbery and police are investigating to find the robbers who did it. (NBC News)
