Are people longing for old-school holiday traditions?

Are people longing for old-school holiday traditions? With things returning to normal following the pandemic, it seems people want to go back to more nostalgic holiday traditions. According to a new survey, people are looking forward to shopping in brick and mortar stores this holiday season, with 43% saying they actually miss the chaos of in-person Black Friday shopping .

Speaking of back to normal … A new survey by The Vacationer found that more than 112 million Americans plan to travel this year for Thanksgiving. That's despite high gas prices and the high cost of flying. Most Americans expect to spend more than $500 on their holiday travel. And with roughly 43% of Americans spending Thanksgiving away from home, most will still be expecting the traditional holiday feast. The same survey asked respondents which Thanksgiving dinner items they dislike the most and the top answer was cranberry sauce, followed by turkey, green bean casserole, ham, and coleslaw.

Well here’s something that will make you even sleepier after Thanksgiving dinner … California-based cannabis company Kiva is offering Turkey Gravy with an extra kick. The seasoning mix has everything you need to make the gravy to cover your turkey and mashed potatoes – along with 10 mg of THC. The packs, which run $5, are available at dispensaries in California.
