FOLLOW UP

Britney Spears asked her followers to ignore the documentaries. Framing Britney Spears streams now on Hulu while BBC iPlayer offers The Battle for Britney. A British journalist uncovered documents claiming Britney suffers from dementia. (The Sun, UK)

On Monday, Britney shamed documentary makers and called them “hypocrites.” They gain attention and ratings by exhuming Britney’s most traumatic moments. Then, the docs lament how the media treated her.

Britney said she’s “deeply flattered” by the attention. However, she added, (quote) “I'm thrilled to remind you all that although I've had some pretty tough times in my life. I've had waaaayyyy more amazing times in my life."

Perhaps the next documentary will focus on her MTV Video Music Awards, her starring role in the movie Crossroads, the years judging The X-Factor and the boys she’s helped raise with Kevin Federline. (E! News)
