A plastic surgeon in California is so good at multi-tasking that he was able to perform surgery while attending a virtual traffic court hearing, and the state's medical board is not very impressed or happy about it.
Dr. Scott Green joined his Zoom trial in full surgical scrubs from the operating room and informed the other attendees that despite being in surgery, he could proceed with the trial. The stunned judge told him, "I do not feel comfortable for the welfare of a patient, if you're in the process of operating, that I could put on a trial, notwithstanding the fact that the officer is here today." The doctor assured the judge that he could proceed saying, "I have another surgeon right here with me who is doing the surgery with me, so I can stand here and allow them to do the surgery also."
Fortunately for the patient, the judge said he would allow the trial to proceed and would need to reschedule it for when the doctor doesn't have someone under the knife. (Buzzfeed)
