Can’t put a price on love … Americans appear to be willing to ignore high inflation this Valentine's Day as retailers are expecting record-high spending on gifts. The National Retail Federation predicts Americans will spend nearly $26 billion on Valentine's Day. That's up 8% over last year. A survey shows that 63% of Americans say they are definitely buying Valentine's gifts this year. 24% say they might buy gifts. Only 13% say they don't plan to buy any Valentine's gifts.
