Walmart and Target plans on kicking off their deals and price matching offers even earlier this year. The purpose of this is to help Americans when it comes to holiday shopping and be able to avoid higher prices.
Walmart is also expanding the window for returns by more than a month. Gift returns will now be accepted between October 1 and January 31. The company said that more than half the toys on Walmart’s list of expected hot holiday toys are under $50 and nearly all of the toys are available to shop now or through pre-order on walmart.com.
Meanwhile, Target will begin offering holiday deals between October 6 and October 8 and it will begin price matching then.
