We all love our pets and want them to stay with us forever, but there's a line -- and an Australian family may have just crossed it. When their beloved golden retriever died, the family found a unique way to remember her. They contacted a taxidermy company and had her turned into an ornamental rug for their living room. The owner of the company, who shared photos of the rug on Instagram, said "Pet taxidermy has only really become more popular in the last five years or so, so it's a very new thing to see for most people." And the reaction is as mixed as you would imagine with some saying it's weird and ghoulish, and others saying it's no different than saving the ashes of a beloved family member.
