Britney Spears meets next week with a judge considering her conservatorship. In advance of that hearing, Britney’s mother filed documents complaining about how Jamie Spears is spending Britney’s money.
Lynne Spears alleged that her ex-husband’s law firm misspent a quarter-million dollars that “largely constituted a ‘national media tour’ orchestrated by the law firm to combat media coverage that cast Mr. Spears in a negative light.”
Last month, Jamie Spears requested a payment of $900,000 from Britney’s account to cover his legal expenses. Lynne Spears said that many of these fees were “substantively improper.” (People)
