Good Morning!  Happy Hump Day!  Hope you have a great day!  Here's what you missed on today's show.

The Morning Brain Buster:

1/4 of us are so impatient we've done this. What?

Eaten food in the grocery store before paying for it.

The Bonehead Of The Day:

A Washington state psychologist was suspended after a prostitute stole his laptop with the health information of all of his clients on it.

At first, he told cops the computer was stolen out of his car when he left it unlocked.  He eventually admitted that he had given the laptop to a prostitute to hold while he ran to the ATM to get some cash to pay her. It was collateral.

The laptop had personal health information on 652 clients and he didn't tell anyone it was missing for 3 days, which is a violation of his contract.

He's been suspended and could have his license revoked for life.

Why You Should Wait Til December To Buy Toys For Christmas

Don't buy toys before December. To get better prices, watch and wait.

Wal-Mart and Toys R Us both released their hot toy lists about a month ago. The LeapPad Ultra from LeapFrog starts at $149, Zoomer the interactive dog is $79, Furby Boom sells for $59 and Big Hugs Elmo is $49.

Stores do this every year to get us to shop early. They try to create a sense of urgency that these toys are hot and may not be available later on.

The editors at DealNews just ran the numbers for the last year and found that it pays to wait. The best prices were not on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but during the first two weeks in December.

DealNews analyzed the price histories of items on the 2012 Toys R Us "Fabulous 15 List" and found that almost all of them that were discounted on Black Friday were reduced again in the first two weeks of December.

The bottom line is ....  if you skip Black Friday and shop the two weeks before Christmas, you will save the most amount of money on toys.

(Double Standard?) High School Student Sent Home For Wearing Breast Cancer Awareness Shirt, While School is Selling Version Of Their Own.

A high school student in Oklahoma was sent home for wearing a breast cancer awareness shirt.

The shirt read, "twin peaks, save the scenic views."

The principal said the shirt was offensive. BUT.. the school is selling shirts that say, ""big or small save them all" and "save second base."

The student said he wore the shirt to support breast cancer awareness and only wore it to support a good cause. The shirt was designed by a senior who teamed up with a local restaurant to sell the shirts.

Even though the shirts are banned from the school they can still be purchased at the Twin Peaks restaurants with all the money going to Oklahoma Project Women.

Caught!  18 Foot Sea Creature Off California Coast

An 18-foot-long, serpent-like oarfish was caught off the coast of Catalina Island near Los Angeles.

A marine science instructor snorkeling found the oarfish and got 15 others to help him bring it to shore.  The fish apparently died of natural causes.

Because oarfish dive more than 3,000 feet deep, sightings of the creatures are rare and they are largely unstudied.

The Highest Paid Sitcom Stars Are:

"Two and a Half Men" may not be the highest-rated comedy anymore, but it still employs the two highest-paid TV actors — and three of the top 10 earning television stars of last year. Make that four, if you still count Charlie Sheen.

According to Forbes, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer made around $24 million and $21 million between June 2012 and June 2013. Kutcher stands to bank even more money once his episodes go into syndication. Coming in at No. 7 is their "Men" co-star Angus T. Jones, who pocketed $11 million.

This is the second straight year Kutcher has topped Forbes's list.

Just a little perspective for you: In 2011, when Sheen still had the lead role, he came in at No. 1 on the Forbes list with $40 million. Charlie, who now fronts FX's "Anger Management," slides in at No. 9 this year with $10 million.

Here's the full list of TV's top-paid actors:

(1) Ashton Kutcher, $24 million
(2) Jon Cryer, $21 million
(3) Ray Romano, $16 million
(4) Neil Patrick Harris (tie), $15 million
(4) Mark Harmon (tie), $15 million
(6) Patrick Dempsey, $13 million
(7) Tim Allen (tie), $11 million
(7) Angus T. Jones (tie), $11 million
(9) Michael C. Hall (tie), $10 million
(9) Charlie Sheen (tie), $10 million

Newsflash..  Taste In Music Does Change Over Time

Your taste in music changes as you get older.

Researchers studied more than a quarter of a million people over 10-years to see their taste in music.

They found as people got older their taste is music changed to meet their social and psychological needs.

Even teens who listened to punk rock changed and listened to classical music when they got to their middle ages.

** Researchers divided musical genres into five broad categories they call the MUSIC model - mellow, unpretentious, sophisticated, intense, contemporary - and plotted the patterns of preference across age-groups.

The first is the 'intense' period when punk or metal dominates adolescence as teens explore their own identity.
After that listeners gravitate towards 'contemporary' electronic and R&B music which reflects the autonomy of early adulthood.
That phase of 'romantic, emotionally positive and danceable' music gives way to a 'Mellow' period as listeners search for love and start families.
Following that is the 'sophisticated' age of jazz and classical pieces.
And finally as we mature and lose the need for peer approval we become more inclined to 'unpretentious' music such as country and folk.

How Much Money Does It Really Take To Raise A Child?

A recent study from the Fraser Institute calculated the cost of raising kids at about $3,000 a year.

A MoneySense article in 2011 put the number closer to $250, 000 to get them from birth to 18 and legally allowed to leave the house.

It's expensive, but when you do the *real* math and take into account opportunities that are missed because of the spending you make on kids, the numbers get ugly.

Maclean's Magazine did the harder math. They put the number at $700,000 to get a kid to 18, and make it $900 000 if they do the predicted and live at home into their early 20s.

And that's for one kid. You're looking at over $1 Million if you have more than one kid.

A study from the University of Waterloo showed that when parents were only presented with the costs of raising kids, they valued the time they spent with their kids more. The more they cost, the more we love them.

Fact Or Fooey..  Where You Sit In A Movie Theater Says Alot About You

Psychologists say where you sit in a movie theater can say a lot about you.

They say if you sit in the back corner, you likely lack self-confidence... while those who choose a seat in the center of the cinema directly in front of the screen are confident and decisive.

Those who sit in the back of the cinema with the screen directly in front of them are calm and collected.

And they say people who love sociable activity and being around others select a seat on the front row with the screen directly in front of them.

Video Of the Day:

A year ago, Felix Baumgartner jumped out of a spaceship and landed safely on planet Earth.

Red Bull recently released a point-of-view video of his dive complete with mission data. A few things to keep in mind: Baumgartner hit speeds of around 830 miles per hour. He started his jump at almost 128,000 feet above sea level (around 24 miles).  And yes, he did break the sound barrier.
