The Morning Brain Buster

Q; Just under 20% of us here in the US that have one of these would get a different one if given the chance.

A; A college degree

Bonehead Of The Day:

A man was arrested outside a Utah church after an argument over "seat saving" in the pews turned into a fistfight in the parking lot.

Another man ended up getting hit by a car.

The whole thing started before services over "seat saving." There was some seats that were saved and there was a disagreement over whether they were saved or not. It continued to get worse and the argument continued outside to the parking lot, where punches were thrown. One man went inside to clean himself up and when he went back outside, he was hit by a car.

One man was arrested.

Banned:  The Hillbilly Practice Of Outdoor Couch Sitting

According to a new West Virginia law, items meant for indoor use like couches, mattresses and appliances are no longer legally allowed to be stored outside on property (in Huntington city limits).

The municipal judge can drop the citation against a home owner if the problem is taken care of by the time court rolls around.

Otherwise, the fines and court appearances will add up

Up To 92% Of Concert Tickets Are Secretly Reserved Before They Go On Sale

Ever wonder how concerts seem to sell out in minutes after they go on sale?

The reason could be that up to 92% of those tickets are already reserved for special VIPs before you even get a chance to buy them.

There isn't much transparency in the concert ticket world which is why most of us are in the dark about this. Holding tickets for friends of the artist and special credit cardholders is apparently pretty common.

Justin Bieber is the worst offender. At a recent 12,000-seat show he played, only 940 tickets went on sale to the general public - the rest were reserved for VIPs.

At a recent One Direction show, 64% were reserved for VIPs. The same number were reserved for VIPs at a Maroon 5 show and 77% went to VIPs at a recent Pink concert.

Starbucks Testing Hand Crafted Soft Drinks

Starbucks is testing handcrafted soft-drinks.

The coffee chain has been testing spiced root beer, ginger ale and a lemon ale in some stores in Atlanta and Austin, Texas. The drinks are made by baristas with special carbonation machines.

A Starbucks spokeswoman says it's too soon to know if the drinks will move beyond the cities in which they're now being tested.

Billionaire Richard Branson Was So Impressed By A Brutal Complaint Letter He Posted It On His Website

Billionaire Richard Branson was so impressed by a "brutal" complaint letter he read regarding Caribbean airline, LIAT, he posted it on his own website!

The man wrote an open letter to the airline to vent about a flight that included six changeovers. LIAT lost his bag as well and his arrival was so late that he missed his boat.

Branson tweeted about the letter and republished it on his blog under the headline "How to write a complaint letter."

Here's the letter:

"Dear LIAT,

May I say how considerate it is of you to enable your passengers such an in-depth and thorough tour of the Caribbean. Most other airlines I have travelled on would simply wish to take me from point A to B in rather a hurry. I was intrigued that we were allowed to stop at not a lowly one or two but a magnificent six airports yesterday. And who wants to fly on the same airplane the entire time? We got to change and refuel every step of the way!"

"I particularly enjoyed sampling the security scanners at each and every airport. I find it preposterous that people imagine them all to be the same. And as for being patted down by a variety of islanders, well, I feel as if I've been hugged by most of the Caribbean already."

"I also found it unique that this was all done on "island time," because I do like to have time to absorb the atmosphere of the various departure lounges. As for our arrival, well, who wants to have to take a ferry at the end of all that flying anyway? I'm glad the boat was long gone by the time we arrived into Tortola last night -- and that all those noisy bars and restaurants were closed. So thank you, LIAT. I now truly understand why you are "The Caribbean Airline." P.S. Keep the bag. I never liked it anyway."

An Accident Turns Into A 40 Year Tradition:  Great Story!

A Texas teacher wore the same clothes every year for forty years for his yearbook picture.

The elementary school teacher retired this past year and says the tradition started by accident. He realized in his second year of teaching, he wore the same outfit as the year before.  His wife found it funny and told him he should do it every year.

He said the clothes still fit as long as he sucks in his gut.

He said the clothes will now be retired to the back of his closet.

The Worst Restaurant Meal In America Is:

The Center for Science and Public Interest has released the worst restaurant meal in the United States: Long John Silver's Big Catch.

It's fried haddock, hush puppies, and onion rings for $4.99 and it clocks in with 33 grams of trans fat, and an additional 19 grams of saturated fat.

It comes with 3,700 milligrams of sodium, which is over twice the daily recommended allowance for a normal adult.

Since it's a temporary menu item they aren't required to give out its nutritional info, but it's estimated to have about 1,320 calories…the same as a Big Mac, fries, and a milk-shake combined.

The CSPI called it a "heart attack on a hook."
