Selfie Named Word Of The Year For 2013

The word "selfie" has been named as the Oxford Dictionaries' word of the year.

The word actually dates back to a 2002 posting in an Australian Web forum, but Oxford's editors say that use of the word has gone increased 17,000% since 2012.
