Bonehead Of The Day

Bonehead of the day today comes from San Diego, California, where Francisco Hernandez was on trial, charged with vandalism. During the trial, court officials noticed graffiti showing up at several locations inside the courthouse itself. Officers noticed that our idiot had even gone so far as to put his moniker on the graffiti.  A stupid thing to do. After tracing the moniker to our bonehead, he was charged with five new felony counts.

Mashed Spuds Causes Road Chaos

Mashed potato /North Yorkshire Police

Mashed spud causes road chaos | Orange UK: A truck blocked a busy main road in North Yorkshire on Sunday after shedding its load of instant mashed potato.

A section of the A64 was covered in mash close to Whitwell on the Hill, near Malton, causing cars to skid.

A police spokesman said: "Instant mash is covering the road and cars have skidded as a result of the mash swelling up."

Police and the Highways Agency closed the road in both directions to allow recovery of an overturned vehicle. Fire and Rescue Service were called to help clear the creamy slop from the road.

It is believed the substance had frozen onto the road surface.

Fairytale In Florida:  Real Life Goldilocks Breaks Into House, Samples Wine & Pajamas

Fairytale in Florida: real-world Goldilocks breaks into house, samples wine, pajamas  - NY Daily News: The only things missing were the three bears.

A real-life Goldilocks is accused of breaking, entering and making herself at home in a Florida house Friday night, according to a report.

But while a shower and a soft couch in an empty St. Augustine Beach home might have seemed just right to 19-year old Chancy Layton, her trespass was an unpleasant surprise for the homeowners.

The owners returned home early Saturday and told a local news station that they were stunned to find Layton asleep on their couch, wearing stolen pajamas and surrounded by bottles of their wine. The intruder was arrested.

Student Gets Stuck in Ladyparts Sculpture

What happens abroad doesn't always stay abroad. An unidentified American student studying in Germany was out with friends when they happened about a sculpture by Fernando de la Jara called "Pi Chacan," or "making love" outside of Tubingen University.

Friends of the 22-year-old dared him to get inside the sculpture, which looks like a vagina, and he got stuck.  According to "The New York Daily News," it took five firetrucks and 22 firemen to get the man out. Of course, his friends got a picture first, which was posted on Imgur and made it to the front page of Reddit.

"The fire department was not really amused, and he was really embarrassed. But now happy that he is 1st on reddit!" Erick Guzman posted along with the picture.
