New Beauty Trend..  Snails On Your Face.. Fun!

A Japanese salon has launched a new anti-aging beauty treatment that involves letting live snails crawl across your face.

Snail mucus contains a mix of powerful proteins, antioxidants and hyularonic acid, and it is said to help skin retain moisture, soothe inflammation and remove dead skin.

During the 60-minute treatment, the snails are placed on the cheeks and forehead and allowed to move around as they please.

The facial is being called the Celebrity Escargot Course, and also includes a series of facial massages, masks and the use of an electrical pulse machine.

The salon also uses creams infused with snail slime provided by the salon's five resident snails which are fed on organic vegetables and kept as pets.

Your Facebook Posts Are Seen By 3 x More People Than you think

Your Facebook posts are usually seen by three times as many people as you think they are.

Researchers found that Facebook users underestimate the number of people looking at their content based on factors, including, how often their friends post, plus how many likes, comments and shares they receive.

Facebook does know many people look at each post but it only shares this information with advertisers and not users.

The results of the study suggest that Facebook wants to keep it this way because users would post differently if they knew who and how many people were viewing their content.

What A Way To Go

A motorcycle racer trying to top 300 mph died after losing control and zooming off a runway at a former air base in northern Maine.

44-year-old Bill Warner of Wimauma, Florida was clocked at 285 mph before he lost control, but it was unclear how fast the motorcycle was traveling when it veered off the paved runway and crashed.

Warner was conscious and talking after the crash, but he died about an hour and 15 minutes later at a hospital.

** Riding his modified turbo-charged Suzuki Hayabusa, Warner previously hit a world land record going 311 mph on the same course in 2011, using 1.5 miles of pavement.

This time he was trying to hit 300 mph using just a mile of pavement, and he'd made several passes before the one in which he crashed.

Big Baby

A woman in Kittanning, Pennsylvania gave birth to a baby girl that weighed almost 14 pounds.

The baby weighed 13 pounds and 12 ounces which is likely the biggest baby ever born at that hospital.  She was also 25 inches long.

The parents said they were expecting a big baby since their other two kids were big… but not this big.

It's A Pen That Spellchecks On The Fly

‘Lernstift' is a new pen filled with real ink-- but also comes with a computer chip-- that allows the pen to correct both your spelling and your penmanship.

So, while you're writing, if it's sloppy, the pen vibrates - and it vibrates when you're misspelling a word, too.

The pen is currently up on Kickstarter, the crowdsourcing site, and the creators are hoping to get it funded for production.
